When it came time for Judge Jon Shindurling to hand down the sentence he said that Perotto has hope of rehabilitation, but if he doesn't take proper steps, the stakes are high. "You gotta understand the time is quickly coming, if you don't take corrective measures on your own you will spend a good part of the rest of your life in prison." Perotto was sentenced to a year in county jail and five to 15 years on probation.
